Fred Gienapp, who lives on a farm west of Forestville, in Richland Township, suffered a severe loss by fire last week Wednesday. His two barns with most of his machinery were totally destroyed with grain, hay, etc. The dwelling and corn crib were the only buildings saved. The origin of the fire is surrounded in mystery. The loss of Mr. Gienapp is heavy as $1,200 insurance is all he had on the buildings and contents. A subscription was circulated in town Saturday to assist him in replacing his loss.
