Mr. Joe Koch of New Vienna and Miss Mary Deutmeyer of Petersburg were joined in holy wedlock at the Catholic Church in Petersburg Tuesday morning in the presence of a large number of friends of the contracting party. Rev. Father Sassen officiated at the ceremony and also said the nuptial mass. The attendants were Mr. Frank Deutmeyer and Miss Cecilia Koch. The bride wore a gown of grey and white and a picture hat. The maid’s dress was of old rose color with hat to match. A reception was given to relatives and near friends. The couple were recipients of many costly presents as well as the congratulations of their many friends.

The bride is one of the popular young ladies of Petersburg, daughter of Henry Deutmeyer and wife. She has grown to womanhood in that community and has merited the high esteem in which she is held.
