A very sad accident occurred at the home of Mr. Barr, three miles west of town Friday afternoon. Their two little boys, ages 6 and 8, were playing near a ditch with water in it. The heavy rains had washed around cutting a deep hole still full of water. The youngest got in, and the older went in to help him out but as it was several feet deep, both drowned. The deepest sympathy is held for these parents so suddenly bereaved of their children. The funeral will be held Tuesday morning at the Methodist Church. The mother of Mrs. Barr is expected to come from Oklahoma.
