Hazel Pauline Myers, the daughter of Andrew Jackson and Etta Mae Burnett McCullough, was born January 13, 1913 in Canton, Oklahoma and died March 16, 2000 at Westview Acres in Leon, Iowa at the age of 87.

Hazel came with her family to Iowa in 1918 and grew up in Decatur County, Iowa. On February 22, 1930 she was united in marriage to George Reuben "Doc" Myers. To this union four children were born: Betty Lois, Harold Dean, Juanita Ruth, and Louetta Joyce.

Hazel was a long time member of the Brethern Church.

She was preceded in death death by her parents, two brothers, one sister, grandson Daniel Trausch, son Harold Dean and husband "Doc" in 1991

Survivors include: Three daughters: Betty Myers Smith, Juanita Myers Harden, and Louetta Myers Richardson, 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Slade - O'Donnell Funeral Home on March 20, 2000 with interment in the Leon Cemetery.

Siblings: Mae Bell Trotz, Hinton Allen McCullough, Ruth Ethel Reynolds, Fred Jay McCullough, Iowa Fern Jones, Earl Burnett McCullough, Willard Lynn McCullough, Junior Elyde McCullough, and Lorene Jane Stryker.
