Dorothy Louise Keeler, daughter of Merton Wallace and Elma (Westfall) Wallace was born July 22, 1916 in rural Clarke County, Iowa and passed from this life Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Southern Hills Specialty Care in Osceola, Iowa at 101 years of age.

Dorothy graduated from Weldon High School in 1933. She was united in marriage to Willard Wayne Keeler on May 6, 1938 at her mother's home in Weldon, Iowa. Wayne and Dorothy lived on the family farm and together raised their four children.

Dorothy was a loving mother and farm wife. She was a great cook and baked wonderful pies. Her sweet pickles were legend in the family. In the summer she canned untold number of jars of vegetables and fruit.

She enjoyed playing bridge with the KOZY and UD bridge clubs. She enjoyed quilting. She and Wayne liked square dancing, playing cards with friends and traveling.

Dorothy was a member of the Osceola Christian Church, and previously was a faithful member of the Weldon Christian Church for many years, where she played the piano and also served as a deaconess. She was a very happy loving person who will be missed by many.

Those relatives who preceded Dorothy in death were her husband, Willard Wayne Keeler, son, Bert Austin Keeler,sons-in-law, Evan Branson and Lee Houston, and her parents, Merton and Elma Wallace. Also her brothers and wives, Warren and Maxine Wallace, Edgar and Irene Wallace, Paul and Gladys Wallace, and sister Geraldine and husband Kenneth Eyler.

Dorothy leaves to cherish her memory; daughter, Joyce Branson of Weldon, Iowa, son, Warren (Sue) Keeler of Weldon, Iowa, daughter, Jean (Lonnie) Liggitt of Anchorage, Alaska, and brother Robert (Betty) Wallace of California. Also grandchildren, Debra (Lee) March, Evan (Shellee) Branson, Julie (Clint) Johnson, Paul (Laura) Houston, David (Angie) Houston, Wesley (Alberta) Keeler, and Bert (Jen) Keeler; 13 great grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren, as well as other relatives and many friends.

Memorial Contributions may be directed to Weldon Christian Church or to the Osceola First Christian Church.

Memorial services were conducted February 12, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., Kale Funeral Home of Osceola, Iowa. Interment was made at Green Bay Cemetery, Clarke County, Iowa.

Arrangements were through the Kale Funeral Home of Osceola, Iowa.
