Thomas Foster Williams, son of John and Harriett Williams, was born June 16, 1884 in Decatur County, IA and passed away October 16, 1953 at the Decatur County Hospital. On February 2, 1908 he was united in marriage to Lou Brown and to this union were born 5 children, Susie who preceded her father in death; Bill of Rock Island, IL, George of Belleive, IA, Fern Suntken, Dennison, IA; Beatric Hedges of Rock Island, Il. Those surviving are his devoted wife, two sons and two daughters and three grandchildren; one brother, Geo. Williams of Des Moines.

Funeral services were conducted from the Slade funeral home Monday, October 19, 1953 at 2:00 p.m. Interment was made in the Decatur cemetery.
