Jon Jay Jackson, son of George Cunningham Jackson and Beverly Ann (Clark) Jackson was born October 12, 1957 in Leon, Iowa and passed from this life Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Osceola, Iowa at 59 years of age.

Jon attended Clarke Community High School. He has lived most of his life in the Weldon area. He was united in marriage to Mona Redman on April 14, 2012 at Afton, IA.

Jon loved his family and enjoyed getting together as often as he could. He was a proud member of the NRA and collected guns and taught his children proper shooting and gun safety. Jon was a hard worker, he owned Jon Jackson Dozing and Excavating, in his free time he enjoyed riding his motorcycle and recently found an enjoyment of looking at antiques with Mona and collecting old coins and bottles.

Those relatives who preceded Jon in death were his parents, Beverly and George Jackson, and infant daughter, Jessica Jackson.

Jon leaves to cherish his memory; wife, Mona Jackson of Osceola, IA, son, Jon C. (Amanda) Jackson of Weldon, IA, daughter, Jen (Glenn) Feezell of Urbandale, IA, step-son, Chris (Bri) Wuthrich of Lino Lakes, MN, step-daughter, Staci Wuthrich of Leon, IA, grandchildren, Dixie, Daisy, Annabelle, Archer, and Jaxyn, step-grandchildren, Peyton and Parker as well as other relatives and many friends.

Memorial contributions may be directed to his family for a fitting tribute.

Funeral services were conducted 10:30 a.m. April 13, 2017 at Kale Funeral Home of Osceola. Interment was made at Hebron Cemetery, Osceola, Iowa.
