DIED—In Bloomfield, Davis co. Iowa, on the 26th inst., after a protracted and unusually distressing illness, Mrs. Susan Kister, wife of Israel Kister Esq.

On the 27th inst. she was followed to the grave by an unusual large number of neighbors and friends, who had long known and esteemed her, and who in tearfully committing her body to its last resting place hopefully trust that her tired spirit, chastened and purified by fifteen years of suffering, has gone where

“Sickness, sorrow, pain and death,
Are felt and feared no more.”
