Henry Foglesong

James Henry "Hank" Foglesong, 76, died at 1:36 a.m. Monday, July 22, 1985, at his residence on Bloomfield route 6.

He was born Aug. 11, 1908, in Schuyler County, Mo., to Hiley Bethel and Celesta Mae Templeman Foglesong. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and operated Foglesong Garage. he lived in Bloomfield most of his life. He married Dolly Pickens April 2, 1927, in Lancaster, Mo. She died July 29, 1984.

He is survived by one son, Bill of Bloomfield; one daughter, Jean Stogdill of Bloomfield; two grandsons; five great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Orville of Ottumwa and Ira of Moulton.

The service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Wagler Funeral Home, the Rev. Quentin Johnson officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Bloomfield with military graveside services. The casket will be closed at noon on Thursday.

Visitation is open.

Memorials have been established to the Avenue of Flags and the B.F. Carroll Chapter, Izaak Walton League in Bloomfield.
