Geraldine J. Childress

Geraldine J. Childress, 48, daughter of Edward adn Nettie Rudzinski Inderski, was born December 28, 1932, in East Chicago, Indiana and passed away July 28, 1981, in the Scotland County Memorial Hospital, Memphis, Missouri.

She was united in marriage to Dean Childress, September 12, 1951, in Indiana, and to this union seven children were born.

Surviving are, her husband, Dean Childress of Memphis; her mother, Mrs. Nettie Inderski of Memphis and Clairmont, Florida; two daughters, Karen Childress and Kathy Childress, both of Columbia, Missouri; five sons, Bruce of Memphis, Gary of Quincy, Illinois, Scott of Edina, Brian of Gilette, Wyoming, and Chris at home; one brother, Edward Inderski, Jr., of Bloomfield, Iowa, one granddaughter, Sarah Childress.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Inderski, Sr.; two grandsons, Russell Dean Miller and Aaron Bruce Childress; and one granddaughter, Joetta Lynn Childress.

In 1969 the family moved to Scotland County in the Dover Community. She was a member of the St. John's Catholic Church, Memphis, Missouri.

Services were conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 31, 1981 by the Payne-Gerth Funeral Home from the St. John's Catholic Church, Memphis, Missouri. Burial was in the Memphis Cemetery. Father Wm. Forst officiated. Body bearers were relatives.
