POLSON—Roscoe P. Huston, 86, of Polson, died Tuesday at a local hospital. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Mosley Chapel with the Rev. Loy Estes officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery.
Mr. Huston was born April 23, 1879, at Waukee, Iowa. He married Mabel Bell in Iowa in 1900. Before coming to Polson in 1935, they had lived at Moorecraft, Wyo., and at Highwood and Nashua.
He worked as a lumber grader for the old Dewey Lumber Co. mill here and later for the former Spaberg Lumber Co.
Surviving are a son Lisle, Kalispell; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Coverdall and Mrs. Bernice Kershner, both of Libby; eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
