Sick Man Cuts Throat

Perry, Ia., March 28. – L. M. Hoover of Dawson, west of Perry, attempted to take his life last night while delirious. Doctors believe that he will recover. Some time ago he was taken sick with smallpox. His condition was not considered serious until last night, when he became delirious and tried to cut his throat. He was alone and his condition was not discovered until a doctor made his rounds.
