Dallas Center High School Commencement Held

The annual commencement exercises of the high school at Dallas Center were held at the Presbyterian church last Thursday evening. The 1896 graduating class was composed of eleven young men and two young women. The orations were of a high order of merit. Prof. Oblinger has good reason to shake hands with himself on turning out such an exceptionally fine class. The graduates are Della Cox, Susie Smith, Bert Flora, Emmet Dixon, Joe Fox, Fred Bomberger, Will Riddle, Harry McClure, Harry Randall, Walter Condran, Claude Clark, and Roy Miller. The diplomas were awarded by Rev. A. L. Carter, who made a fitting address.
