George William Huebner

YAKIMA, (Wash.) George William Huebner, 94, a longtime Yakima resident dies Tuesday, December 7, 1993, in Yakima.

George was born April 19, 1899, in Crawford County, Hanover Township, Iowa to Otto and Wilhemina (Nemitz) Huebner. He spent his early years and received his education in Crawford County. On February 27, 1921, he married Minnie Redmon. They made their home in Iowa farming until moving to Yakima in June of 1945. George was a member of L.L.L. since 1946, and belonged to the Bethlehem Lutheran Church. He always enjoyed gardening, fishing, and spending time with family.

George is survived by 5 daughters, Irene Christie and husband Frank, Ione Hall, Georgia Lamb, and Delores Miller all of Yakima, and Verdona Bemmer of Anaheim, CA; 1 brother, Ernest Huebner; 8 grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Minnie Huebner, 1 brother, 3 sisters and by 1 great grandson, Austin Robert Miller.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 11. 1993, at 10:00 A.M. at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at West Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. Those wishing to honor George's memory may contribute to the Lutheran Women's League, care of Keith and Keith.
