The funeral of Mr. C. E. Engberg, whose obituary appeared in last week's Review, took place Friday afternoon. It was held from the Baptist church at 2:30 and was attended by a large number of the many friends and acquaintances who had mingled with him and known him for so many years.

The services were conducted by Rev. A. Anderson, his pastor, and he was assisted by ,Rey. A. Lagerquist, of Omaha, and Rev. Irvin Johnson, of the Free church. At the close of the services the large audience filed past the casket for a farewell look upon the familiar face of their friend, neighbor and brother, whereafter his remains were followed to the Kiron cemetery, where they were laid to rest All his children came home and were present at the funeral. Those present from a distance were: Rev. I. Powler and wife, of Grand Island. Neb., Harlan Smith and wife, of Sioux Falls, S. D. Andrew Lofquist. Hold drege, Neb. Mrs. J. F. Engberg and Mr. and Mrs. Emil Lundblad, Odebolt.

Another pioneer called to join the numbers of those who settled in this part of the world in the early days and through their toil and deprivations assisted in making it the beautiful and rich locality of today. The deepest sympathy goes out to the bereaved wife and children. We are pleased to be able to furnish the Review readers with a picture of Mr. Engberg.
