Please consider joining the Facebook group called 'Family Treasures Found'. It's a group of volunteers that help find descendants in order to return old photos and memorabilia to where they belong - (i.e. with the family where it originated). Some photos of the objects would need to be uploaded to the site, along with a post describing the contents. There are many knowledgeable researchers and historians there that could help place your articles with the right family.
