Funeral services for Henry DeWulf, 49, New Liberty, were held at St. Patrick's Catholic church, Big Rock, July 6. Burial was in the church cemetery with Chapman funeral home, Wheatland, in charge. The rosary was recited at the funeral home July 5.

Henry DeWulf died in Mercy hospital, Davenport, July 3.

He was born Jan. 14, 1925 at rural Wheatland, the son of Theophiel and Irma Van DeWeile DeWulf. He had farmed in the New Liberty area for 23 years.

Survivors include 4 sisters, Zoe DeWulf, Moline, Ill., Mrs. Leon (Alice) Timmermann and Mrs. Roland (Florence) Riedesel, both of Bennett and Mrs. Allen (Margaret) Conrad, Lowden; 4 brothers, Modest, Moline, Ill.; Charles, Bennett; Joe, Tipton and Arthur, Wheatland. He was preceded in death by his parents and a twin brother.
