Terry A. Norem, 65, of Clinton, passed away, Sunday, May 22, 2022 at Select Specialty Hospital – Davenport, surrounded by family and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be 10:30am, Friday, May 27, 2022 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Tim Norem, Stephan Norem, Bobbi Jo Brown, Missy Norem, Joe Moon, and Dwayne Geronzin. Serving as an honorary pallbearer will be Kevin Owens. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00-7:00pm at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory.

Terry Alan Norem was born on July 23, 1956 in Clinton, the son of Douglas and Patricia (Heath) Norem. He was a 1975 graduate of Clinton High School.

Terry was employed at International Paper as an industrial maintenance mechanic for many years. He was a member of Prince of Catholic Church. He enjoyed riding his Harley, spending time on his boat fishing, walking and riding his bicycle. He will be remembered for his desire to help others, his quick witt and sense of humor.

Terry is survived by his significant other, best friend and the love of his life for the past 11 years: Rita Sheker of Clinton; 4 children, `10 grandchildren, his brother: Stephen (Theresa) Norem of Fulton, his sister: Deborah Cummings-Witt of Las Vegas; and his nieces and nephews: Tim (Jennifer) Norem, Trish (Brian) MacLennan, Stephen Norem, Missy Norem, Bobbi Jo (Bennie) Brown, Stacy (Lucien) Gognon, Kristin Proto, and Kevin Owens. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother: Tim.
