Mrs. James McCullough has received the sad news of the death of her niece, Mrs. Howard Ashburn, which occurred Wednesday at her home in Moultrie, Ga., following a several weeks illness of malaria fever. She leaves to mourn her death her husband and two little daughters. Funeral services will be held in the southern home. Mrs. Ashburn was formerly Miss Amee Haskin of Davenport. She has visited in Clinton since childhood and her many friends here learn of her death with sorrow. Her sister, Mrs. Stephen Bawden of Davenport, was with her at the time of her death.
