Terrance “Terry” Edward Doyle, 75, of Clinton, Iowa passed away at home on Saturday, October 6, 2018. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, October 10, at Lemke Funeral Homes – South Chapel (2610 Manufacturing Drive). A visitation will occur 2 hours prior to the funeral service from 11 am until the time of service at the Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.

Terry was born October 9, 1942 in Clinton, Iowa the son of Henry and Barbara Ruth (Hindley) Doyle. Terry would be raised by his step-father, Arnold Dosland. Terry was a 1960 graduate of Clinton High School. Following High School, Terry enlisted in the United State Marine Corp – a veteran of the Viet Nam War.

Terry was united in marriage to Diane Noffke on September 28, 1968 in Clinton, Iowa.

Terry worked for several Industrial Companies in the area as an operator.

He was a former member of the AMVETS.

Terry loved playing pool and repairing pool cues. He loved going to Auctions and enjoyed purchasing Antiques, he was a true picker. He also enjoyed collecting coins. He loved watching anything sports related, especially baseball. He loved history and trivia and was always ready to tell a funny joke. He loved animals, especially his fur-baby – his Schnauzer, “Lady”. Above all, he loved his family very much and will be sadly missed.

Terry is survived by his wife Diane of Clinton, IA; 2 sons – John (Jenny) Doyle of Clinton, IA and Alan (Melissa) Doyle of Clinton, IA; his grandchildren – Keith, Danielle, Chloe, Jeff, Alyssa, Alex, Madison, Sean, Aden, Kaylee, Keaton and Carter; 2 great grandchildren – Jayden and Jaxton - on the way.

Preceding Terry in death were his parents, one sister and two brothers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials made can be directed to family.
