Daniel Lawler, a former resident of this city, died at his home in Chicago at 10:30 o'clock Monday night after a very short illness from pneumonia. he was 36 years of age and until removing to Chicago four years ago, resided in this city being employed during the last twelve years of his residence here as a switchman for the North Western. He held a similar postion in Chicago with the Milwaukee, up to the time of his death.
The remains will arrive here this evening and will be taken to the home of Mrs. Maloney of Twelfth avenue. The funeral will be held at 9 o'clock Thursday morning with services at St. Mary's church and burial at St. Mary's cemetery.
