The death of Mrs. Laura E. Keith, widow of the late Asa Keith, occurred at 8:30 a.m. Sunday at her home at 323 Tenth avenue. Death was due to the infirmities of old age together with an attack of pneumonia. The funeral will be private and will be held this morning at 10 o'clock from the residence of Story Keith 331 Tenth avenue.
The deceased was born in East Randolph, Vt., June 18, 1815. With her husband she came west in 1853 and settled on what is now part of the city of Minneapolis. In 1862 they moved to Wisconsin and seven years later came to Clinton where they made their home. Three sons survive, A. S. Keith, B. Storey Keith and Chas. S. Keith all of who reside in this city.
