AN AGED LADY DIES.
Death Came Suddenly While she was Sitting in her Arm Chair.

Mrs. Zepah Warren Harmon passed quietly away yesterday afternoon while sitting in her favorite chair at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. H. Pierce who resides at 727 Sunnyside avenue. Mrs. harmon ate dinner as usual and after dinner took her accustomed nap. After arising she went to her chair and falling quietly to sleep passed away without a struggle. Death was due to the infirmities of old age.
The deceased was 86 years of age, she having been born in Ashtabula, Ohio, on Aug. 20, 1814. Her husband, Jos. Harmon, died many years ago at Kankakee, Ill. Thirty-five years ago she came to Iowa, making her home at Anamosa, where she lived until coming to Clinton thirteen years ago to make her home with her daughter. Two children survive, Mrs. Annie Pierce and A. Z. Harmon, both of whom reside in this city.
The funeral will be held Saturday. It is not yet decided whether interment will be made here or in Anamosa.
