Randy L. Neff, 66, of Maquoketa, Iowa, passed away on Monday morning, August 13, 2018, at his home.

Friends and family may gather in remembrance of Randy on Friday, August 17, 2018, from 6 to 8 P.M. in "The Bistro" at Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa. Cremation rites have been accorded.

Randy Lee Neff was born on August 6, 1952 in Fulton, Illinois, to Albert Lee and Donna Ellen (Wade) Neff. He attended Clinton schools and later earned his GED. He married Lisa Marie Brunk on July 24, 1999 in Clinton, Iowa.

Randy had first worked for the Rock Island Railroad until it closed. He then worked as a forklift operator for International Paper in Clinton for many years, and lastly as a security guard at Family Dollar in Maquoketa.

Randy was an avid fisherman, Cubs fan, and enjoyed gardening and sharing produce with friends and family. He loved flowers and could make beautiful arrangements, and was a self-taught musician playing the guitar and drums.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Lisa Neff of Maquoketa, IA; sons, Travis (Carrie) Neff of Clinton, IA, and Toby Neff of Clinton, IA; 2 grandchildren, Marissa and Vanessa; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Darwin (Darla) Neff of Clinton, IA, and Mike (Regina) Allen of Cabot, AR; sisters, Jennifer (Chuck) Collister of Maquoketa, IA, and Cindy (Jeff) Turney of Maquoketa, IA; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Albert Neff, mother Donna Neff Allen, and step-father Galen "Shorty" Allen.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a Randy L. Neff memorial fund has been established.
