De Witt Resident Dies here.
James Redden, of DeWitt, Ia., died at 12:30 o'clock yesterday in a local hospital at the age of 54 years. Mr. Redden had been ill for some time and underwent an operation a couple of weeks ago after which he appeared to be recovering but complications set in causing his death. The body was taken to DeWitt at 7 o'clock this morning where burial will be made.
