Samuel Port, 66, Clinton, died Thursday at Jane Lamb Hospital. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Snell-Smith Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Davenport. Visitation is 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Port was born in Muskegon, Mich. He married Nellie Hendricks in 1949 in Camanche.

Survivors include his wife; daughter, Mrs. Dean Nightengale, Maryland; sons, Robert and Thomas, both of Wyoming, and Richard, Omaha, Neb.; four grandchildren, and sister, Mrs. Francis Flannery, Muskegon.
