Mrs. Martha A. Hensel, 72, of N. 4th St. died Friday at home of an apparent heart attack.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Pape Funeral Home with the Rev. Daniel Mohr officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Edward, Timothy, Steven, and Daniel Hensel, Alyn Kimble, and Robert Nelseon.
She was born Jan. 23, 1903 in Germany, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Wolff. She married Hans Hensel June 20, 1923. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
Surviving are two daughters, MRs. Gertrude Dalldorf, Clinton, and Mrs Phillip (Janet) Root, Davenport; four sons, Paul, Anaheim, Calif., Vernon, Camanche, Herman, Clinton, and John, Sabula; 11 grand-children; seven great-grand-children; two sisters and two brothers in Germany.
She was preceded in death by her husband and one grand-child.
