CLINTON, Iowa -- Services for Bernard L. "Jack" Marr, 84, of Evansville, Ind., formerly of Clinton, will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Nelson Funeral Home, Clinton. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery.

Visitation is 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

He had worked as a carpentry contractor.

Mr. Marr was born Nov. 17, 1914, in Hanover, Ill. He married Leona Andreson.

He served in the Navy during World War II.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or St. John's Lutheran Church, Clinton.

Survivors include his wife; sons, Richard Marr, Muscatine, and Jackson Marr, Evansville; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five step great-grandchildren; and a sister, Edith Schutte, Tacoma, Wash.
