GRAND MOUND, Ia. -- Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian Smith Lichtenstein, 71, of Grand Mound will be held at 2 p.m. today in the Grand Mount Methodist church. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery at Grand mound.

Mrs. Lichtenstein died Sunday at the De Witt community hospital. SShe [sic] was born April 8, 1880 in Virginia Settlement and married Ernest Lichtenstein in April, 1905. Mrs. Lichtenstein was a 50-year member of the Rebekah lodge.

Survivors: a son, Vernon of Cedar Rapids; two daughters, Mrs. Alvin Hancer of Decorah and Mrs. Harvey Stewart of Grand Mound, and four grandchildren.
