DeWITT, Iowa -- Services for Brett James Swanson, 2-month-old son of Jeffrey and Tammy Swanson, of DeWitt, will be 3 p.m. today at Weerts Funeral Home, Davenport. Visitation is 2-3 p.m. today. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Davenport.

Brett James died Wednesday, July 2, 1997, at University Hospitals, Iowa City.

He was born May 2, 1997, in Iowa City.

Memorials may be made to the University of Iowa Intensive and Intermediate Nursery.

Survivors, in addition to his parents, include brothers, his twin, Shawn Swanson, and David and Casey Fier, all of DeWitt; his grandmother, Beverly Swanson, and his great-grandmother, Dorothy Pederson, both of Bettendorf.
