28 December 1905 - The Clarence Sun

LeRoy B. Fayram, brother of Principal M. R. Fayram of the Clarence schools, died at his home in Calamus at the setting of the sun on Sunday evening of typhoid fever. The death of Mr. Fayram is a very sad one and many expressions of sympathy have been heard in Clarence for those called upon to mourn. Deceased was but 25 years of age and was contented in a happy home shared with a devoted wife and little son. He was employed as station agent of the North-Western. All was well with the family until the fever entered their home, both Mr. and Mrs. Fayram being taken with it. So serious was Mrs. Fayram's condition at the time of her husband's death that she could not be told of it, and may not even now know. The deceased was born at Monticello, in this state, July 17th, 1879. He was married Miss Anna L. Haring of DeWitt, April 10th, 1902, and leaves to mourn his loss his wife and little son, also his parents and eight brothers. M. R. Fayram went to Calamus on Friday morning and has been of assistance there since. The funeral was held on Christmas, Rev. M. J. Locke of Clarence conducting services at Calamus. The remains were then taken to Monmouth, the home of the parents of the deceased, where burial took place.
