Vernal Haring 07/06/2001 CLINTON, Iowa -- Services for Vernal E. Haring, of 1000 15th Ave. S., Clinton, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Clinton. Mr. Haring died Wednesday, July 4, 2001, at Mercy Medical Center-North Campus, Clinton. Visitation is 3-7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Vernal Edwin Haring was born June 13, 1914, in La Porte City, Iowa. He married Lois Lienau in 1979 in Clinton. He was the owner of Cousins Electric, DeWitt, for 30 years, retiring in 1986. Memorials made to made to the Heart Fund or Parkinson's Disease Research. Survivors include his wife, Lois; a daughter, Vickie Ahlers, Idaho Falls, Idaho; sons, Gary Haring, Camanche, and Bradley Haring, Denver; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Lyle Haring, DeWitt.
