Pauline Burrichter 11/23/2000 LOST NATION, Iowa -- Pauline M. Burrichter, Lost Nation, died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2000, at Genesis Medical Center-East Campus, Davenport, following a short illness. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Union Presbyterian Church, Lost Nation. Burial will be in Smithtown Cemetery, Lost Nation. Visitation is 3-7 p.m. Friday at Hayden Funeral Home, Lost Nation, and 12:30 p.m. until service time Saturday at the church. Mrs. Burrichter taught in rural schools for several years. She then farmed with her husband near Smithtown until 1962. Pauline Busch was born Oct. 7, 1916, in Marion. She married Paul Burrichter at her parents family farm. He died in 1991. Survivors include her daughters, Marie Hoffmann, DeWitt, Margaret Burrichter, Cedarville, Ohio, Ruth Wilson, DeWitt, and Dorothy Burrichter, Carlisle; sons, David, Columbia, Pa., Donald, Shellsburg, and Allan, New Hampton; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Anita Schepers, Maquoketa.
