April 8th a horse was stolen from Mr. A. S. McKinley, of Clinton. Sometime afterwards, Mr. Graham, of Manchester, bought a bay stallion at a cheap price. During the simmer it was found he had considerable “go” to him. At the Maquoketa races recently he made good time-but he fell under the eye of a man who thought he recognized him. To make a long story short, McKinley went to Manchester and recovered his horse. The animal valued at $1000.
