Searching for information

BURKE

I have very little information about my great, great grandparents except that they came from Ireland, had a son, William, born in Pennsylvania and then moved to Iowa. His father's name was Patrick Burke and he was a railroad worker. In my ancestry search, I found a family that I believe to be them in the 1870 Census. It says Giard, Clayton County with Post Office as Farmersburg. They were surrounded by Irish people. I'm wondering if there was an Irish neighborhood in Giard and if so, where would it have been located. Would like to make a trip there.
