Register and Argus, 16 Dec. 1915. Garber column.

After a lingering illness David Garrettson died Tuesday morning. Deceased was a young man of about 23 years of age and was highly esteemed by all who knew him. He leaves to mourn his loss, his father, mother, several brothers and sisters, other relatives and friends.
