The death of Mrs. Jessie Riddell occurred at her home last Thursday after many months of suffering. Since the death of her husband, Alex Riddell, she has conducted the Riddell grocery store. Her lovable nature and kindly disposition endeared her to those with whom she came in contact. During her illness she was given the most affectionate care by loved ones and her daughter, Miss Florence, and everything that human hands could do to spare her suffering was done. Funeral services were held at the home Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Turner and the remains taken to Manchester for interment in the family lot. Besides her daughter she leaves two sisters, Mrs. A. E. Peterson and Mrs. C. A. Peterson of Manchester to mourn her death, besides a large circle of friends.
