P.O Johnson, a Swede, died at the county poor farm on Tuesday of last week. He was about 40 years of age, and had been an inmate of the poor house but three days.

Notes: 1885 Iowa State census - Enumerated as a farm laborer living in the household of Charles Washburn, age 38, single, born Sweden. Death records give burial in the poor house cemetery.
