Clayton County Register, Thur., 3 Sept. 1953.

Dominick Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Miller, was born August 6, 1868 on the farm where he lived all his life.

He died Saturday, August 29, 1953, after an illness of three months. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 1, 1953, at St. Joseph's Catholic church by the Rev. Daniel Gorman, Burial was at St. Joseph's Catholic cemetery.

He was preceded in death by three brothers; Joe, Pete and John Miller, and one sister, Miss Clara Miller. He leaves three brothers; Phil on the home farm, Nick and Mike all of Elkader, besides nephew, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers were: Dr. M. J. Miller, Ossian, Herbert Masuen, Garnavillo, ____ Miller, James Humphrey, Eldo G. Meyer and Art Hoover.

Relatives and friends from a distance that attended the service were: Mrs. Clara Schroeder and Mrs. Lewis Nachtman, Ryan; Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Kaber, Prairie du Chien, Wis.; Mrs. John Hennes, Dubuque; Dr. and Mrs. M. J. Miller, Ossian; and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Masuen, Garnavillo.
