Elkport: Funeral services were held from the Lutheran church here Sunday, Dec. 20, for Henry F. Beeh, 67, Elkport resident who died suddenly at his home on Dec. 18 following a heart attack. Interment was made in Mt. Harmony cemetery. The Rev. F. W. Tillmans officiated.

Mr. Beeh had spent his entire life in Elkport and the surrounding community. He was born here on Jan. 14, 1886.

On Dec. 10, 1909, he was united in marriage to Lena Wirkler. She passed away on July 1, 1940. Then on Jan. 14, 1944, he was married at Garnavillo to Elizabeth Thiese.

At the time of his death he was custodian of the Elkport school. He was also town clerk and a member of the church council.

He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Mrs. Howard Kreig of Elkport. He also leaves a sister, Mrs. Mabel Rentschler, and a brother, Phillip, both of Guttenberg. Two sons and a sister preceded him in death.

Pallbearers were: Lloyd Wessel, Julius Wittman, Art Jaster, Delbert Kimball, Art Willman and George Gifford.
