The death of Mrs. Pauline Schroeder, 89, occurred early Friday morning, Dec. 4, at Friendly Haven, the Mrs. Frank Oldfather nursing home. She had been ill the past several weeks. The body was taken to Farmersburg, her former home.

A daughter, Mrs. Ella Mathews of Farmersburg, survives.
