Strawberry Point column.
A number of relatives from here autoed to Guttenberg and attended the funeral of Mrs. Katherine Fabert. Mrs. Fabert was formerly Miss Katherine Schug, daughter of Mrs. Elizabeth Schug of this place and had been in poor health for a long time.
North Buena Vista column.
The people of Buena Vista and vicinity were greatly grieved on Saturday of last week to learn the Mrs. Ernest Fabert had passed away at her daughter's home at Center Grove. She was a former resident of this place and leaves one son here, Ernest Faber, Jr., and three daughters of Center Grove and Dubuque and her husband of Guttenberg. She was by nature a woman of sunny cheerful disposition and made friends of all who came within the circles of her acquaintance. The funeral was held at Guttenberg Sunday afternoon and was largely attended. Mr. Henry Kamm and Mrs. Mary Noggle from here attended the funeral.
