Clayton County Register, Thur., 24 Oct. 1935.

McGregor: Wilbur Minney, 70, for many years a railroad man, was buried recently in the Pleasant Grove cemetery at services conducted by the Rev. J. F. Parsons.

Mr. Minney was born in Elizabethtown, N.Y., on January 27, 1865, and moved to McGregor at the age of three years. He was a twin, his twin brother being William Minney. These two were inseparable all their lives, neither being married. Both held membership for 43 years in the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen. They began as brakemen on the same day and as young men, worked on numerous railroads, seeing most of the United States together.

Some years ago they both retired and, since the death of their mother, have lived alone at the old home here.

The deceased is survived by his twin brother; another brother, Fred, of Crystal Lake, N.D., and a sister, Mrs. J. L. Johnson of Chicago.
