RUST, FLASCHER, FLASHER

Funeral services for Julius Rust, former Guttenberg resident, were conducted by the Rev. W. J. F. Adix at the Flasher home last Thursday afternoon, with interment in the City cemetery. He was 59 years old.

Mr. Rust was born at Guttenberg March 7, 1876 and died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Christine Flascher, in Mallory township, Tuesday. When a young man he went to North Dakota where he farmed. He came to the home of his sister in Mallory township, where he became suddenly ill and died, following a stroke of paralysis. He never married. Before going to North Dakota, Mr. Rust was employed by the Milwaukee Railroad Co.

He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Christine Flascher, Mallory township; one brother, Henry Rust, Dubuque, and other relatives.

(Note: Both spellings of the surname Flascher/Flasher were used in the article.)
