Mildred M. Bunting, of Elkader, and Melvin C. Ahrens, also of Elkader, were married here in the Evangelical parsonage Wednesday, February 26, Rev. C. H. Franke officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. M. A. Bunting and for some time has been employed in the local office of the Central States Power & Light Corp. The groom is the son of Herman Ahrens. They will reside on a farm in Read township.

Elkader Register, Thur., 27 Feb. 1930.
