At Guttenberg, Iowa, Jan. 7th, 1885, occurred the marriage of George Blodgett, of Royalton, Vermont, to Lucy DeSotel, of Turkey River, Iowa, Rev. B. A. Albers, officiating. The bride is a daughter of J. M. DeSotel, of Clayton county. The groom is well known. After the ceremony a bounteous dinner was served at the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. Wm. Kiefer, of Guttenberg.
