Miss Irene Beuchner went to Clinton last Thursday morning and at 11 o'clock was united in marriage to Mr. Harold Rodefer of that place at the Lutheran parsonage. Rev. Leamer performed the ceremony. They were attended by Miss Bernice Rodefer, sister of the groom. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Buechner and after receiving her education in our high school entered the telephone office and has been operator for the past ten years. She has served the people faithfully and was always ready to serve the public. The groom is a stranger but has visited here frequently and has the appearance of a young man of sterling qualities. He is a wholesale candy man. After receiving congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Rodefer went to Chicago to spend their honey moon. They will be at home to their many friends at Clinton, Iowa, Feb. 1. We join with the friends in extending congratulations to this worthy young couple in wishing them the full measure of prosperity and happiness.
