Smith - Sabbann marriage - 1935

At a very simple wedding ceremony at the Evangelical parsonage Saturday evening at eight-thirty o'clock, Miss Rosalyn Sabann, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. A.. Sabban, became the bride of Mr. Clyde Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. D. Smith. The Rev. Paul Kitterer officiated at the single ring service.

Attending the bridal pair were Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Dettman of National, close friends.

Both the bride and the groom are graduates of the Elkader high school, the former with the class of 1930, and the latter with the class of 1927. For the past several years Mrs. Smith has been a teacher in the rural schools of the county. Mr. Smith, together with his father, operates a farm a short distance south of Elkader, where the couple will make their home.

Mr. and Mrs. Smith are postponing their honeymoon trip until a later time.
