Osterdock: A double wedding took place at Galena, Ill., on July 3rd, when Emma Tomkins, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Will Tomkins, and Lester Aulwes, of Guttenberg, were united in marriage. Also Miss Marguerite Tomkins and Emmett White of Osterdock were married.

A five o'clock dinner was served at the brides' home to the bridal couples. On Saturday evening a shower was given in honor of the newlyweds in the I.O.O.F. hall. Many beautiful gifts were received.

The young couples have the best wishes from their host of friends in the community.
