Berry - Burns marriage - 1935

Miss Cleo Burns of Green Island, and James Stanton Berry, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Berry of Marquette were married June 1, the ceremony being performed at St. Raphael's Cathedral in Dubuque. The attendants were Miss Enid Burns of Savanna, sister of the bride, and John Jenson, of Dubuque, cousin of the bridegroom. The young couple and immediate members of the family attended a dinner given in their honor at the J. M. Berry home Sunday evening. Mrs. Berry has taught in the Marquette high school for the past five years. The young couple will live in Guttenberg, where the bridegroom is employed.
